State Champions

DeVeaus School of Gymnastics Level 5 team places 1st at State... The DeVeau's Level 5 girls had an outstanding State Meet with a great many girls bringing home gold, silver and bronze medals! The team, as a whole, placed 1st in the state. Wow! What a way to finish an already awesome season!

State Champions from DeVeaus Level 5 team were Maddie Clapp on Vault, Floor and All Around; Hannah Conrad on Bars; Lauren Foster on Vault, Floor, and All Around; Kylie Hohlt on Balance Beam; Amanda Lourenco on Vault, Balance Beam, Floor and All Around; Hanna Manka on Balance Beam; Dilan Palmer on Bars, Cassidy Shannon on Bars; Rachael Weesner on Balance Beam; and Jeanna Wigley on Bars.

Second place individual winners were Maddie Clapp on Balance Beam; Hannah Conrad on All Around; Amanda Lourenco on Bars; Carly Rasmussen on Bars; Shannon Cassidy on Vault; Anna Stark on Bars, Balance Beam and All Around; Lauren Tokach on Floor and Jeanna Wigley on Vault.

Third Place Finishes went to Haley Bird on Vault & Balance Beam; Hannah Conrad on Floor; Lauren Foster on Bars; Hanna Manka on Bars and All Around and Brittany Rockhill on Bars.

All Level 5 Team Members worked exceptionally hard this year and each and every girl improved significantly throughout the season. Congratulations to all of the Level 5s and coaches on a job well done!

Dilan Palmer, Cassidy Shannon, Amanda Lourenco, Lauren Foster, Jeanna Wigley and Michelle Baker all came home with gold medals, while Olivia  Burlas, Dilan Palmer, Carly Rassmussen, Molly Baldwin, Haley Bird, Maddie Clapp, Hanna Conrad, Sydney Dickerson, Kylie Hohlt, Cassidy Shannon, Rachel Weesner, Hanna Burris, Andi Hise, Amanda Lourenco, Molly Lupton,

Hanna Manka, Madison Sauerteig, Nicole Chamberlin, Rebecca Dodge, Lauren Foster, Anna Stark, Jeanna Wigley, Aarika Wright, Michelle Baker, and Kristen Darling all posted 9 or better in at least one event.

Congratulations to the DeVeaus Level 5 girls on an outstanding performance on Saturday, November 5 at the All Star Classic in Kokomo! The Level 5s won the first place team award with a total score of 110.125! A number of team members received first place individual awards. Congratulations to Dilan Palmer who received 1st place on floor in the 7-8 year old age group. Congratulations to Maddie Clapp who put on a stellar performance and took first place on bars, beam, floor & all around in the 9 year old group in the first level 5 session Saturday morning. Congratulations also goes to Hannah Conrad for her first place win on Vault. Amanda Lourenco headed up the top scores in the first session of level 5s in the 10 year old competition. Amanda took first place on bars, beam, floor and won all around with a score of 36.275! Way to go Amanda! The 11 year old age group also took top honors with Nicole Chamberlain winning first place on floor with a 9.4. Lauren Foster took first place honors on Vault and Beam and Anna Stark and Jeanna Wigley tied for first place on Bars with a 9.4 for 11 year olds! Second session of level 5 competition on Saturday afternoon also featured first place finishers from DeVeaus. Congratulations to Hanna Manka for her first place win on bars in the 10 year old age group with a 9.125 as well as to Rachael Weesner for her first place win on Balance Beam posting a 9.0 in the 9 year old age group!
