Several members of DeVeau's School of Gymnastics traveled to Louisville, Kentucky and Champion Gymnastics on June 25 for the first TOP's testing of the season.
The girls had a great time! Great job DeVeau's.

2 National Gold Qualifiers Emily Neal and Kayla Smith, both Level 5 team members, attended TOPS testing scoring high enough that if they would have been 9, they would have qualified for National Testing. Way to go girls!!! Congratulations also go out to Heather Hannon for making the Diamond Level.

Congratulations Heather Hannon for making the 2004 TOPS National Team in the 8 year old division. Also, Congratulations go out to Hannah Blachly, Jorden Mitchell, Colleen Treesh, and Mikaila Buening for being National Qualifiers! Colleen and Mikaila were asked to attend the TOPS B Camp as a result of their testing.

A group of DeVeaus TOPs athletes traveled to Louisville, KY, June 12 for TOPs testing. Congratulations to all the athletes who participated. GREAT JOB. Good luck in the upcoming DeVeaus TOPs Testing on July 10. Thanks to Coach Don for all he does!!! Below are some shots from testing...

DeVeaus School of Gymnastics participated in two TOPs testings during the summer of 2003. They hosted a TOPs testing and they also attended a test in Kentucky at Champion Gymnastics. Throughout the spring and early summer, the TOPs gymnasts from DeVeaus came in on Sunday afternoons to get some extra practice in preparation for the Testings. Coaches Don Gibson and Kirk Eshbaugh worked the gymnasts very hard but everyone also had a great time!

Congratulations to 11-year-old Lauren Caldemeyer and 7-year-old Heather Hannon for making the 2003-04 TOPs National Team. Lauren and Heather will receive a TOPs warm up, t-shirt, leotard, certificate and their names will appear in USA Gymnastics magazine and on the USA Gymnastics website. Lauren will attend the 4-day TOPs National Team Camp in Houston, Dec. 6-10. This is Laurens second consecutive year to make the TOPs National Team. Heather, is not eligible for the camp due to her age, but has earned a DeVeaus coach a spot at the National Team Camp.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH GYMNASTS They are one of about 20 girls in the country in their age group to earn this honor!

Also, five gymnasts from DeVeaus earned the gold level status. They include: Isabella Garcia, 8; Jordan Mitchell, 8; Emily Neal, 7; Jessica Peszek, 8; and Colleen Treesh, 8. These girls were among the 100 gymnasts in the country to earn the gold level status. There were 1,000 gymnasts in the 7-8 year old age group that tested TOPs. These gymnasts will receive a TOPs t-shirt, certificate and their name listed on the USA Gymnastics website at www.usa-gymnastics.org

Congratulations to all of the DeVeaus gymnasts who worked so hard to participate in the TOPs program and a big thank you to coaches Don Gibson and Kirk Eshbaugh!!!
