It is the end of the season and the Level 6 Team had a wonderful showing
at the Region V Meet. All of the boys qualified for the competition
which is a great tribute to there hard work and commitment thoughout the
year. The team won 4th place for ages 8-9!
Congratulations!! Individual placings went to: Joel
Phillips placing 7th on Rings! Awesome! Jake Markisohn placing 8th on High Bar! So Cool! Chris
Stephenson placing 12th on Rings! Super! Great year guys!

DeVeau's School of Gymnastics 2005 Level 6 are the State Champions!! The
State Meet was held at Interactive Academy and DeVeau's boys swept most
of the Level 6 events and had an overwhelming presence on the podiums!
Congratulations on a wonderful season! Way to shine at the State
Meet!
Ages 8-9:
Sterling Manka was the Gold Medalist and All-Around State Champion! He
is also the Gold Medalist and State Champion on Floor Exercise, Rings(tie), and Vault!! He received the Silver Medal on Pommel Horse.
He is the Bronze Medalist on Parallel Bars and High Bar. Awesome meet,
Sterling!
Alex Bird is the Silver Medalist for All-Around! He is the Parallel Bars
Gold Medalist and State Champion (tie)! Alex is the Silver Medalist on
High Bar and Bronze Medalist on Rings! He place 4th on Floor Exercise
and on Pommel Horse! Great Job, Alex!
Jacob Markisohn is the Bronze Medalist for All-Around! He is the
Gold Medalist and State Champion on High Bar! Jake is also the Silver
Medalist on Vault! And he is the Bronze Medalist on Rings
(tie) and Pommel Horse (tie)!
Joel Phillips placed 4th all-around! He is the Gold Medalist and State
Champion on Pommel Horse and Rings (tie)! He is the Bronze Medalist on
Vault (tie)! Joel took 5th place on Floor Exercise! Terrific

Ages 8-9 (con't):
Christopher Stephenson received 5th place all-around! He is
the Bronze Medalist on Floor Exercise, Vault (tie) and High Bar (tie)!
Chris also took 5th place on Rings and Parallel Bars. He placed 6th on
Pommel Horse! Way to go, Chris!
Conner Wilder placed 6th all-around! He is the Silver Medalist on Floor
Exercise and Parallel Bars! All right, Conner!
Level 6 Boys Ages 10-11 had a great State Meet. The
placings are as follows:
Joel Malkoff - 4th All-Around, 4th in Pommel Horse, 4th in Vault and 5th
on Floor! Terrific Job, Joel!

Great Job to our Level 6 Boys at INTERACTIVITY 2005. Our boys went
to this meet on the weekend of February 26-27, 2005. Ages 8-9
brought home the 1st place team award!! DeVeau's nearly swept the all
around category in this age group!
Individual placings are as follows:
8-9 year olds:
Sterling Manka won 1st place all around! Way to go Flea! He also placed
1st in Floor, 3rd on Pommel Horse, 5th on Rings, 1st on PBars with a
9.5, and 4th on High Bar.
Joel Phillips placed 3rd in all around! Great job Joel! He also placed
5th on Floor, 1st on Pommel Horse with a 9.5, 4th on Vault, 3rd on PBars,
and 3rd on High Bar.
Christopher Stephenson placed 4th all around! Awesome meet Chris! He
also placed 2nd on Pommel Horse, 3rd on Vault, 5th on PBars, and 1st on
High Bar.
Alex Bird received 5th place in all around! Terrific job Alex! He also
placed 4th on Floor, 5th on Pommel Horse, 2nd on Rings, and 5th on High
Bar.
Conner Wilder won 3rd place on Floor! Super tumbling Conner!!
10-11 year olds:
Joel Malkoff received 7th place on PBars! Excellent Joel!
The CEREAL CITY CLASSIC in Battle Creek, Michigan, was an optional meet.
Five of our Level 6 boys competed. They had a terrific meet
against boys from several states. The Team took home 4th place!!

and even though did not place, Dalton did contribute to the team score.

At APLUS in Noblesville, Indiana, the Level 6 Boys
challenged themselves by adding bonuses to their routines. Level 6 Boys

DeVeau's School of Gymnastics Level 6 Boys did well
at
the Kentucky Winter Classic 2004. The team finished
in third place. The boys had new skills and new
routines to perform at the first meet of the season.
