DeVeau's Level 5 Boys were SO awesome at the Indy
School Meet on March 6th.
Anton Stephenson earned 1st place in All Around for the 7 year olds,
Matt Rittman earned 1st place in All Around in the 8 year olds,
and Connor Angelo received 2nd in All Around for the 9 year olds!
Way to go Boys. Joe Young had a great meet and placed 1st on
Vault and Logan Hatchel, who came in 3rd in All Around, had a
personal best on Rings and All Around! We are very proud of how well our
boys competed, but even more important is their display of great
sportsmanship by congratulating their own team members, as well as their
competitors. Good Luck to everyone at State!
DeVeau's Level 5 Boys were hitting their routines at
Circle of Stars!
There were 2 sessions for these athletes. Congratulations goes to
Matt Rittman who has struggled with his Pommel Horse routine in the
past but finished 1st in Pommel and had a 2nd place finish in All
Around. Jacob Smith finished 2nd on High Bar and John
Buschbacher had an awesome floor routine. Cameron Jones
placed 5th in All Around and Connor Angelo was outstanding with a
2nd place finish! In the 2nd session Anton Stephenson had his
best meet ever! He finished 1st place in All Around and had an amazing
High Bar routine. At a very close 2nd in All Around was Nate Blachly
and third place went to Alec Yoder. Drew Johnson also had
a good meet finishing 5th on Pommel and Vault. Session 2 brought
home the 2nd place team trophy!! We are very proud of all of our boys
for their wonderful display of good sportsmanship and their love of
gymnastics!

was Anton Stephenson who also took first in high bar.
Alec Yoder finished third in all around and was the vault champion.
In the 8/9 year old juniors we also had a first in all around.
Congratulations to Connor Angelo. He also placed first on floor,

follows: Matt Rittman finished 4th, Drew Johnson finished
6th, Logan Hatchel finished 8th, Clay Thomas finished
10th, Preston Holland finished 11th, Austin Smith finished
13th, and Jacob Smith finished 15th.
For the 8/9 year old seniors we are proud to announce that
Christopher Quammen finished 3rd and John Buschbacher
finished 11th in the all around category.
The 10/11 year old category had a 4th place all around winner and that
was Cameron Jones.
The team seems to have a lot of fun competing and we are very proud of
their accomplishments. We can also celebrate the fact that as a team
they finished 2nd.
Keep up the good work boys!!
